Eventcorder - Version 3 |
What
is new in version 3?
- The playback routine
was completely rewritten to ensure a more
reliable playback and exact playback timing on
newer Windows operating systems.
- Eventcorder 3 is
fully XML oriented. This enables the user to
handle a understand the take (saved macro)
better, or possibly to create the take file on
his own (without recording it).
- The user interface
was completely remade based on several years of
experience with the application. It is now more
intuitive and less fragmented.
- The unique Clickview
technology was further improved. For example, it
is possible to record the Clickview images in
full-color (32bit per pixel) now.
Is
version 3 compatible with version 2?
When considering the
backward compability the main difference between the
versions is that the version 3 doesn't use the binary
*.ecf format to store the recorded events but the
standard *.xml format. To convert existing takes
(*.ecf) the user must import an *.ecf file and save
it as *.xml. In some cases it may occur that
recording a new take wouldl yield better results,
though. In all other respects the version 3 is
backward compatible.
